Who I am
My name is Ben Semisch and I want to tell you about the worst year of my life. In the same week in 2010 I graduated college I was let go from my job of 7 years. Over the following weeks I must have applied for over 100 positions, but the recession made things difficult, after all the legwork and door knocking I only landed one interview - and it went terribly. Walking out of that interview I made a decision, I was going to escape from the traditional idea of what a job is and control my own destiny. Since that day Ive been fortunate enough to work with some amazing people on great projects; everything from music videos to network television shows. Being able to turn my passion for storytelling into an escape plan from a life I never wanted has changed everything for me and now I want to use those talents to help others execute their own escape plan.
